Ways to Implement UWSF: Marketing

"Parents appreciate and use items that are resource-driven . . . Families of all types were able to use the pocket cards – resources to help with any basic need are beneficial whether there is a young child in the family or not." - San Antonio Site

Marketing UWSF is similar to marketing your existing United Way initiatives. And as with any successful marketing venture, whether it’s a printed media piece, a casual conversation, use of social media, or a more involved opportunity, the key to success is effective communication.

Developing your marketing or communications plan means understanding your objectives, and targeting the right audience, at the right time, with the right message. You have both an internal United Way audience and an audience within your community; both can help you achieve your goals. We have provided a Communications Plan Template to assist you in developing your individual plan.
